Next Wednesday night, October 30th, Zaragoza restaurant on South William Street will play host to a unique evening of Freixenet Cava tasting.
A focal point in the newly opened Zaragoza restaurant is it’s impressive cava bar and extensive cava menu. Many of the cavas which feature on the menu are exclusive to Zaragoza in Ireland. Freixenet and Zaragoza invite you to experience these cavas and enjoy an tapas themed 8 course meal next Wednesday night commencing at 7pm.
Oscar Boada and Bernard Halbach of Freixenet in Spain will give tips on how to serve and enjoy cava while the international kitchen team in Zaragoza will be serving up authentic and modern spanish tapas dishes.
Dishes on the night include honey glazed spinach & goat’s cheese filo triangles & apple compote, 5oz prime striploin steak with pink peppercorn or morel mushroom sauce, while desert is the ever popular Creme Catalan.
Tickets are €39.95 and includes a cava reception with canapés on arrival, followed by a delicious 7-course meal and desert with cava flowing throughout the evening.
