Dock 1 Seafood Bar & Restaurant, Galway, was declared Best Seafood Restaurant in Connacht at the YesChef Ireland Awards announced on the 24th of October in the Strand Hotel, Limerick.
Dock 1, which is is co-owned by Aoife Buckley and Bríd Reddan, has a waterside location on the Docks. This provides the perfect setting for diners to enjoy local seafood and shellfish dishes expertly cooked by award-winning head chef Brian McMonagle, who has already achieved multiple awards, for his seafood expertise in particular.

Irish ingredients are to the fore at Dock 1, with locally sourced shellfish and seafood taking centre stage. A tasting plate of Irish oysters from Kilcolgan, Dooncastle and Dungarvan is among the signature dishes. The lunch and dinner menus feature freshly landed, daily fish specials. A downstairs Seafood Bar offers platters of Irish lobster and crab.
Dock 1 Seafood Bar & Restaurant is located at 1-3 Dock Road, The Docks, Galway. Lunch and dinner menus are available daily from 12pm until 5pm and 5pm until 10pm respectively. The Seafood Bar is open daily from 12pm.
