Galway jeweller, Grace O’Connell will host a hands-on ring design workshop through her series of Dine and Design afternoons. Dine and Design combines a love of great food, social gathering and creativity. The workshop is a fun, casual event that sees participants enjoy a delicious two-course lunch whilst also dabbling in jewellery making.
Design and sculpt your own unique contemporary ring and enjoy a delicious two-course lunch as well as a little tipple to get the creative juices flowing. Grace will teach you how to design your own contemporary ring out of jewellers wax which is then cast in sterling silver, professionally finished and the final ring returned to you within two weeks.
Grace says “We are really excited about these workshops, it’s such a nice idea to enjoy lunch out, do something nice for yourself and meet some new people. You don’t have to be particularly creative, even the most unusual creations can look fabulously contemporary once finished and the best thing is that each one is totally unique”.
The next afternoon of creativity with lunch is coming up on Sunday 13th March in Ard Bia at Nimmos restaurant near The Spanish Arch. They will then be on monthly after that so keep an eye on the Facebook page for details.
