Western Motors are choosing to celebrate their 50th anniversary in style, by offering free lifts within Galway City and Drogheda.
They are running the campaign via their facebook page, where users simply post a comment saying where they would like a lift to and why. They also get to choose from a range of vehicles including a 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL and a 2014 SEAT Ibiza Cupra.
The campaign is already underway with Western Motors receiving requests daily for lifts.
One such customer who requested a lift is Mairead Mahoney, who thoughtfully asked for a lift to treat her two sisters who are new mums and ”always putting the babies first”. Mairead asked for a chauffeur driven beetle to transport her sisters and herself to a restaurant for a well deserved evening out.
Another customer who requested a lift for a special reason is Sabrina Murphy. Sabrina is set to return to work after a year off on maternity leave the day after she returns from a holiday, depressing or what?! Sabrina felt that a trip home from the airport in an Ibiza cupra or an Audi RS6 would lessen the blow, and Western Motors were more than happy to accommodate.
These are just some of the requests received by Western Motors.
Lifts operate from the 1st to the 30th of June and the only condition is that the pick up location and destination must be within a 50 km radius of Western Motors Galway or Western Motors Drogheda.
