Galway’s Il Vicolo Restaurant and Wine Bar is celebrating Valentine’s Day this year with a romance-infused menu.
Il Vicolo’s enchanting riverside terrace and the atmospheric cellars of the old mill make it a magical setting for an intimate Valentine’s evening for two.
This year Il Vicolo is offering a romance-infused special Valentine’s Day menu which will reflect their signature style of authentic, modern Italian cuisine and showcase the best of seasonal produce.
The Valentine’s Day Set Menu will have four options for starters, four options for mains, two options for dessert, and will include a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Diners can expect dishes such as Handmade Agnolotti, Potato Butter, Truffle, Parmesan and 24-Hour Braised Pork Cheek, Soft Polenta, Pepperonata to start; Linguine alle Vongole, Connemara Clams, White Wine, Parsley, Garlic, Chilli and Chianti Risotto, Gorgonzola, Crushed Walnuts, Pangrattato as a main; and Budino, Frangelico Chocolate Custard, Salted Caramel, Hazelnut Ice Cream for an indulgent dessert to end the evening.
It wouldn’t be a Valentine’s Day celebration without wine, and Il Vicolo boasts one of the most extensive Italian wine lists in the country, with a selection of 85 Italian wines to choose from.
