Glovers Alley is hosting an intimate wine pairing dinner on Wednesday, 24th of July to showcase a variety of unique wines from the Rhône Valley region.
The evening will begin at 6:30pm with welcome drinks and canapés, followed by a Five Course Tasting Menu featuring summer dishes created by Andy McFadden, and accompanying wines which have been carefully selected by Jean Baptiste Letinois of Caubet Wine.
Jean Baptiste Letinois said, “The Rhône Valley is a very dynamic wine region producing some fine, versatile, and serious wines which have a lot to offer thanks to the diversity of their appellations and grapes. The Rhône Valley produces wines to suit every palate and has some gems which are competing with some of the best wines from Bordeaux or Burgundy.”
The event will allow diners to experience wines from both long-standing winemakers and exciting new winemakers.
Jean Baptiste added, “The winemakers we have chosen represent the Rhône Valley region perfectly – from the legendary Christophe Bonnefond and Luc Baudet to the rising stars like Famille de Boel and Graeme and Julie Bott. Their wines are made with talent, passion, and creativity. Their production is very limited so this event is a great opportunity to taste these wines, paired with a fabulous dinner by Andy McFadden.”
Tickets for the event are €120 per person which includes the five-course meal and accompanying wines. Spaces are limited and available on a first come first served basis. Reservations can be made online at www.gloversalley.ie.
Glovers Alley is located at 128 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, Ireland.
