Anthony Gray is delighted to announce that his restaurant Eala Bhán will reopen towards the end of October after a fire caused extensive damage to the kitchen and storage areas. The fire, which took place on 1st September was caused by an electrical fault in the restaurant and caused severe smoke damage throughout the restaurant building.
Gray, who is also current President of the Restaurant Association of Ireland said “We are delighted to be reopening Eala Bhán after the devastating fire. We have extensively refurbished the interior as well as working on an exciting new winter menu. During the past few weeks we have taken the time to imaginatively create some delicious and innovative new dishes using the best of local Sligo produce. We are very grateful to our business neighbours, friends and general public for all their help and goodwill, all the team at Eala Bhán appreciate it so much ”.
Eala Bhán is located in the heart of Sligo Town on a beautiful stretch of the Garavogue River and has won the best restaurant in Sligo at the National Restaurant Awards for the last three consecutive years.
