Senior PR and Social Media Account Executive:
Due to a rapidly expanding portfolio of clients Food PR has an exciting role for an ambitious PR professional. Food PR is Ireland’s only dedicated PR agency for Restaurants and Food Producers in Ireland. We develop campaigns with a strong emphasis on online therefore candidates most be very comfortable working their way around various online platforms.
Food PR is looking for a highly creative, self-motivated person with a passion for all things PR and social. We work with some of the countries most inspiring and up and coming chefs, restaurants , food producers and food events. We run a fast paced agency that values each client. We develop each client’s business in a holistic manner taking on and advising on marketing, PR and social activities.
Position Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to Agency Owner you will be assisting on the day to day management of each account
You will manage and develop the online activities for Food PR and work on each client’s online presence.
Act as media relations assisting officer for our portfolio of clients
Research, draft and distribute PR materials (press releases, interview pitches, photo-call notices)
Liaising with national, local and specialist food media to maximise media coverage
Monitor the media for client exposure and relevant news/developments
Compilation of End of Month/Quarter reports
Attending client meetings when necessary
Writing photography briefs and working closely with photographers to coordinate photo shoots
Desired skills and experience:
2 years PR agency experience working at Account Executive level
Passion for online and ability to develop offline PR campaigns into online campaigns
Proven writing skills – for online and offline
Excellent reporting and time management skills
Hard working and ambitious
Self-motivated with a positive, friendly attitude
Creative, ability to develop newsworthy and innovative concepts for clients’ offering
Excellent knowledge on the Irish media landscape.
Eagerness to learn
Driving license (preferred)
A knowledge of the food and restaurant industry in Ireland (desired)
