Chinese New Year celebrations will be marked in Chi Bistro on Middle Street with a feast running Wednesday February 18th until Saturday 21st
The Asian restaurant has developed a Banquet style special menu to mark the occasion. Catherine O’Brien, owner of Chi Bistro said, “all of the dishes chosen have various representations in the Asian culture including, family reunion, longevity, abundance, fidelity and good wishes for the year ahead”.
Diners can expect, starters of Chinese seaweed and tofu asian broth and a selection of steamed dumplings, main courses of selections of fresh fish, duck in plum sauce, vegetables and noodles, with side dishes, desserts such as Matcha Cheesecake and a selection of Chinese teas.
The New Years Banquet is priced at €35 per person and can be booked by contacting Chi Bistro on 091 561443 The Banquet menu will be available Wednesday through Saturday, 18th to 21st February.
