Cava Bodega have launched a Man Tapas menu which consists of tapas designed by the Cava Bodega kitchen team which they consider ‘manly’. Proceeds of these tapas will go towards the charity Movember.
Movember is an international campaign which runs throughout the month of November, it’s aim is to build awareness surrounding male health (prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems).
Drigin Gaffey, co-owner of Cava Bodega explained, ‘many of the kitchen and floor staff are already supporting Movember by growing their moustaches or, in my husband JP’s case, shaving off his beard and leaving a moustache. The charity does great work and, as the Movemeber campaign only runs for the month of November, we tried to think of other ways in which we could help raise awareness while also having a bit of fun.”
You can expect the likes of venison loin, sautéed black pudding and px sherry or striploin, wild mushrooms and lardo to be featured on the Man Tapas Menu.
Man Tapas are available in Cava Bodega until November 30th. Cava Bodega is situated on Middle Street, Galway.
